This hand-thrown mug features a serene grove of snowy aspen trees, their delicate trunks and branches winding around the form like a quiet winter forest. Inspired by the stillness of Colorado’s high country after a fresh snowfall, this piece captures the quiet landscape blanketed in white. I create whimsical stoneware pottery inspired by the natural world around me in my Colorado-based studio. Every piece is hand-thrown, sculpted, and glazed using brushes and wax.
